The Good Bits:
This PC is all about power and performance. There is space for a discrete graphics card if you want to explore the world of PC gaming and loads of ports for a couple of monitors and all the periperhals you can think of. You’ll also find spare space for an internal wireless card if you wanted that option as well as LAN networking. There is a decent sized SATA SSD with Windows 10 Professional installed.
The Not So Good Bits:
There is also no optical drive installed though again there is space for 1. It could perhaps do with another 1 or 2 more up to date video connections though this can be solved by adding a graphics card.
It small size means it can slot in to almost any space, above, below or on a desk. It can also be stop on its side or layed flat. HP has made a PC that is easy to upgrade and maintain with a slide off side panel and a decent amount of internal space. There are also plenty of accessible ports on the front with more on the back.
Ultimately the HP Z240 is a PC that is best suited in a business environment and great for those professionals that rely on heavyweight spec and performance.
