How it’s currently spec’d:

The HP EliteDisplay E273q 27” widescreen refurb computer monitor has the following spec: a wLED backlit IPS panel with 350nits brightness and a 2K Quad HD 2560 x 1440 native resolution at 60Hz. The large viewing area is contributed to by the micro-edge bezel on 3 sides on the monitor which can also be removed from the stand to be VESA mounted. The stand is fully adjustable for height, tilt, swivel and pivot adjustments. Video connections include HDMI, DisplayPort and VGA plus USB Type A and Type C ports.

Where we think it excels:

In both looks and performance, the HP E273q delivers in spades. First off it looks modern and up to date with its micro-edge bezel and multiple video connections including digital and analogy for legacy devices. Not ignoring the amazing 2K Quad HD resolution and high brightness. Not only does the high 2560 x 1440 resolution mean superb picture quality, the E273q also has flicker free and low blue light technology. All this amounts to better performance and being kinder to the user.

What we think its drawbacks are:

There isn’t really any negatives to this superbly spec’d HP monitor other than perhaps is overall size if space isn’t perhaps at a premium. It measures at 52.29 x 61.26 x 21.40 cm (WxDxH).

What we think of the design:

Big and beautiful yet sleek and modern all at the same time. The micro-edge bezel makes it look like most smartphones with their bezel-less displays, it’s what we have come to expect as standard as tech users in 2022. Let’s not forget it’s functional as well. The stand can be adjusted for almost any user and any purpose.

Who it’s suitable for:

Firmly best placed in a business setting for design and video editing or even as a gaming monitor at home.
