Its 1000A peak output is suitable for petrol engines up to 5 litres and diesel engines up to 2 litres, covering a wide range of family cars, vans and 4x4s and motorbikes (12V ONLY).
Connection is reassuringly straightforward. Ring’s built-in 'Ringtelligence' technology provides reverse-polarity protection and spark-free operation, while the ‘Lock ’n’ Load’ terminal connection and easy-reach cables help ensure a secure fit. A dedicated boost function can even start vehicles with a completely depleted battery.
The 8000mAh lithium battery recharges in around two hours and doubles as a portable power bank, with quick-charge USB-A and 30W USB-C outputs for phones, tablets and compatible laptops. A bright LED torch helps if your stuck in the dark, and the jump starter comes supplied with charging cables and a protective storage case.
