HP 27 Inch PC Monitor Details
HP EliteDisplay E271i 27" PC Monitor Specifications
Our Specialist view of the HP EliteDisplay E271i 27 inch Computer Monitor
How it’s currently spec’d:
The refurbished HP EliteDisplay E271i PC monitor has a Full HD IPS LED panel with a widescreen aspect ratio. As mentioned it has a Full HD 1920 x 1080p resolution screen that supports VGA, DVI-D and DisplayPort video connections as well as having a 4 port USB hub. The stand is height and tilt adjustable as well as offering VESA mounting so the screen can be completely removed from the stand.
Where we think it excels:
It’s a great value business spec 27” PC monitor that is versatile enough to be used in lots of different environments. There is an awful lot of visible screen for not a huge outlay, which if you are a business or a home user, is just as important as the spec. If you ignore the lack of HDMI, there are still 3 different ports to choose from and they cover more or less all the most common interfaces. Text and images also appear sharp and clear.
What we think its drawbacks are:
For the users that really need HDMI this is a small drawback. It’s important to highlight that it’s only a small drawback because a DisplayPort to HDMI lead or adapter would solve that and they don’t generally cost more than £10 with no noticeable drop off in quality. There is no USB 3.0 support as all USB ports are 2.0 only. To complete the trio of drawbacks, the E271i is quite heavy at just under 8 kilos.
What we think of the design:
The HP E271i won’t win any beauty contests but its feature set and spec more than makes up for this.
Who it’s suitable for:
Office or education for this 27” HP E271i PC monitor. Feature full and nicely designed for function over form.
