Our Specialist view of the Dell Optiplex 7010 Small Form Factor (SFF) PC
The Spec:
The Dell Optiplex 7010 has a Small Form Factor chassis that weighs a roughly 6 kilos. It packs an Intel Core i7 3rd Gen quad core processor, 4GB DDR3 RAM with room for up to 16, a 500GB mechanical SATA III hard drive and Intel integrated graphics. There is DVD optical present on this 7010 and it has a mix of USB 2.0 USB 3.0 and other different ports are standard. Windows 10 Professional is also preloaded.
The Good Bits:
A plethora of ports, expansion slots and general expandability is the stand out for the Dell 7010. A total of 10 USB ports with a mix of USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 mean you’ll have more USB ports than you could possibly know what to do with! Not happy with the integrated graphics? No problem! Pop in a dedicated graphics card. You also know, as is the same with most Dell PC’s, this 7010 is built to last.
The Not So Good Bits:
There aren’t many drawbacks to the 7010, only really 2 worth mentioning. The fan can get a bit noisy and the PC itself does also get hot. It’s important to note we haven’t yet had one that crashing due to overheating.

Ports are well placed and plentiful so you won’t find yourself have to struggle blindly trying to plug in another USB cable around the back of the PC.
Suitability:
Designed originally with business use in mind, we see no reason why the Dell 7010 wouldn’t be ideal for a business professional in a small to mid size business.
