What type of trimmer is it?

The Remington B3 definitely isn’t for those that are looking for a fresh cleaning and close shave, it’s for those that want to keep their beards and stubble in check. For those that have beards you know the importance of getting the right tools for the job.

What’s good about it?

You can rest assured you are buying a decent bit of equipment, primarily because Remington have been making personal care products since 1979. The Remington B3 has a zoom wheel which offers adjustable cutting lengths and a removable comb for additional precision. Use it for a trim or restyle. The main body of the shaver isn’t waterproof however this doesn’t matter because the blades are easy to remove and can be washed. They are also self sharpening so you shouldn’t notice a drop off in performance or comfort.

Are there any drawbacks?

This really depends how you view it. Yes the B3 Trimmer is battery operated so you don’t ever need to worry about taking a charger with you; just pop 2 spare AAA batteries in the travel pouch and you’re covered if you’re away. However, forget these spare batteries and there isn’t an option for a quick charge via USB if it runs out of juice.
