The Spec:
The Dell Latitude E6440 refurbished notebook / laptop has a 14 inch matt screen that has a HD resolution. The meat of the laptop is comprised of a 4th Gen Intel Core i5 dual core processor with 4GB RAM and a 320GB SATA III mechanical hard drive. The E6440 also benefits from USB 3.0, VGA and HDMI connectivity plus WiFi and Ethernet. Windows 10 Professional is preinstalled along with a webcam for your work from or study from home convenience.
The Good Bits:
It’s certainly tough and reliable though it won’t win any prizes in the looks category. That doesn’t really have much importance with this laptop as it excels at the basics and that is web browsing, word processing, watching YouTube and online banking. The Not So Good Bits:
The specs could probably be seen as a bit basic. The processor is ok but more RAM and an SSD rather than the mechanical hard drive would certainly provide a slightly speedier system. While the E6440 has a full sized keyboard, it does lack the separate number pad that would be ideal for entering data in to spreadsheets. The Design:
Overall it’s not the worst looking laptop. It’s not sleek and modern, especially as it is almost 3.5cm thick with the lid closed and weights over 2 kilos. The brushed silver finish on the lid gives it a modern-ish look and the military spec ruggedness of the Tri-metal chassis helps it withstand a bump or two. It’s also loaded with plenty of ports that are spread evenly and are easy to access.

This Dell E6440 is ideal for a business professional of student needing to or wanting to work / study from home.
