well what can i say, it is brilliant and soooo cheep too! if you are thinking about buying it, dont think JUST BUY IT! you will not regret it. only snag is the weight of it but that isnt too bad.
overall highly recomended, go on, you know you want to.

for the guy with wifi problems its turned off at the hardware level, you'll need to order a recovery disc from dixons which will allow you to use the hotbuttons at the top of the notebook http://www.dsgrecovery.com/

A lot of laptop for your money - unfortunately it's too big for the Lowepro cases Morgan stock.

a real chore, 07 January 2005
no drivers loaded had to download 8 drivers from pcservicecall.co.uk no sound/graphics media drives/ wireless network no 10/100 network/via chipset Wirless card proving a real hassle picking up nothing next to my desktop which has a cheap 802.11b and is seeing 5 networks
no sign of nero or cyberlink dvd software anybody else get those included
good spec but a real hassle so far

The best buy i could find and at a super price, no shared graphics, decent ram (even though i upgraded to 1032mb) and full of kit, great products, well done advent
