Competent but no iPad !,
First impresion is a surprisingly heavy item. Though supplied in a case, the latter doesn't hold the tablet particularly securely and it's apt to fall out. The keyboard is reasonable and with satisfactory action but the USB cable connection feels flimsy & fragile - a 90 deg. connector would have been better. Charging is via USB which is OK but would have been better with a separate socket as one can't use it with keyboard (or anything else) whilst charging. 5v standard is useful though. Display is clear and bright, touch screen responsive but doesn't work with any kind of stylus that I've tried suitable for capacitive screens. (A small plastic stylus is provided but has no obvious use !) Start-up takes under a minute and connectivity to wi-fi works well & is easily set up. Otherwise fairly standard Android. Doesn't support Bluetooth which is a pity, even using dongle, though the USB port supports a hub, mouse and flash drives. Good playback of MP3, WAV and MP4 and E-reader supports quite a lot of other formats. Camera acceptable for the web but I couldn't get Skype to work. Does accept 32Gb SD card which helps. All in all, a reasonable effort and quite good performance with noted drawbacks. Fair value for money though there are other competitors about that might well be worth looking at.
