Dell Latitude D430 2GB 60GB XP Pro Laptop Notebook

The note book as expected with high standard, but the delivery was bit late, expected to be next day delivery due to cost of delivery charges, what I got is UK keyboard version which is very good. Kids liked it, very, compact, battery comes 3hrs plus, overall very good and happy, expected to provide back up copy of win Xp, but not included for any future restore. 

Initially bought one, then later a second. They are exactly what my wife and I need for daily use at work at a great price. Functional, light and of excellent construction. For standard use of documents, spreadsheets, web access,email and the such, they are perfect. The extra RAM means that they run fairly quickly.

Bought for the current contract on. Light and the size of a Netbook. Ready to use straight out the box.

Purchased two of these machines, arrived very quickly and were in a pretty good condition. Not extreme power houses but you can get work done efficiently on them. Really good price for what you get. Morgan's the best xD

The build quality of these laptops is superb. They are professional rather than consumer grade machines that cost around £1500 when first launched. Mine arrived well packaged and, apart from evidence of a corporate ID label having been removed from the lid, was is as-new condition with all features working perfectly. It did have a Danish keyboard, which Morgan describe as having 'additional functionality'. I found the different key locations difficult to work with but was able to pick up a brand new UK keyboard on ebay for a few pounds. There is a full service manual available on the Dell website that clearly explains how to exchange components. The supplied battery was the lowest capacity of the three available for these computers and offered around 1.5 hr use. The larger batteries are readily available at reasonable cost. Anyone thinking of changing the hard disk should bear in mind that the laptop used a 1.8" type not the more common 2.5", and thus offers limited and expensive upgrade paths. A portable external drive is a cheaper option. For anyone wanting a well-built and reliable laptop for general purpose use, the D430 is an excellent choice and tremendous value.

I previously had a ACER laptop bought some years ago and was very slow, even playing Solitaire ! This little Dell is quick and responsive and was relatively easy to set up, despite not having a manual with it. Overall, very happy with it.

This is a sweet little machine that now forms the heart of a music set up, happily running Sonar. With headphones, a firewire hard drive for samples and a PCMCIA sound card, This can be taken anywhere, or hooked up to active monitors ( as it is now - a nice pair of Yamahas )a break-out box and a big screen, it works as the brains of a studio set up.

A super little machine, does everything I need it to do. The usual Morgan service happened, with next day delivery as usual. Excellent, as usual.

+ Excellent laptop, almost netbook size but LT features. Well refurbed with s/w and clean disc (no last users pics). Good price and quality. WiFi s/w installed - worked out of the (well packed) box! 

Love this little laptop! I've upgraded the hard drive and memory. Bought the 3g modem for £20 off an auction site and a 4hr battery for about the same. So my fully loaded laptop cost about £200!!

I bought this as a backup for my main laptop but found it to be a good everyday tool. It is a refurbished model but came clean & well packed with good starter programs. Battery life isn't great (1 1/2 hrs min) but I use a universal laptop batt from Maplins that plugs into the power socket that gives all the extended use I need. £120 delivered is very good value. Highly recommended.
