Suprising Condition,

I bought this laptop for my son to do his homework and surf the net therefore I did not need a "new" super quick machine. I was expecting a well worn workhorse for the price showing a bit of wear. What a suprise when i opened the box and found this pristine laptop with no visible signs of wear. OK it had the corporate identity sticker residue where they had been removed but a bit of glue remover and you would not know the difference. If you are looking for a great laptop at a knock down price then definately consider one of these laptops. Only downside is the 90 day warranty but hey if you have not found any problems in 90 days then you don't need a laptop.

Good workhorse,

I've used one of these for a few years now for both engineering and sales work (presentations etc). It's been in aeroplanes, labs, round the world, abused and worked hard and has been an extremely good performer. It's actually quite a quick machine and copes with everything I throw at it (sometime heavy things on a bad day!)I definately recommend this machine or the slighty better D630.
