Designed to deliver a superb mix of performance, graphics and mibility all packed into a compact and lightweight box.
Stylish in its black and grey finish, the magnesium alloy chassis allows it to absorb the bumps of being carried around all day.
The use of magnesium alloy helps to make the chassis robust, and it provides plenty of protection for the components.
Dell D630 Great Value for Money,
I purchased a Dell D630 which I couldn't be happier with. A beautiful design with the usual dell robustness and at a knock down price I couldn't believe. Many Thanks.
Recieved quick and well packed.Brill condition seeing its pre used. practicaly unmarked. Had it a week now, and its faultless. very fast, brilliant on internet with wifi. Has no Bluetooth, but works with a usb Bluetooth dongle. Would defo recommend,Well done Morgans.
For simple word processing and online work this is a good sturdy machine. Worked well out of the packaging. XP coming to the end of its life as a OS but this laptop would be ideal for Linux. But until XP causes problems will use it as it is.
Thank you for supplying a lovely, unmarked, perfect working laptop. It was good value for money. Well packed, sent quickly and I cannot thank you enough. A friend pointed me in your direction and I am glad he did! Many thanks. Geoff
Dell Latitude 14.1" Laptop D630,
I have long been a fan of the DELL D630; with its adequately fast (for non-gaming purposes) dual-core Intel processor and non-reflective screen. All this in a robust & aesthetically-unoffending, rock-solid gunmetal grey chassis. The preloaded Windows XP Professional D630, as it arrived from Morgan, was in excellent quality for a pre-owned machine; with a few minor, only-to-be-expected chassis scratches - nothing major or show-stopping. It fired up first time & ran OK with its as-delivered 2Gb RAM complement. After many hours of regular use, my previous (also pre-owned) D630 had developed screen problems. Overall, it was cheaper to buy a "new" pre-owned Morgan D630 than have a new screen fitted to my "old" one. All I had to do was swap over the 2 x 2Gb RAM modules & 120Gb Windows 7 SSD from my "old" D630 & change the "new" laptop's BIOS settings from SATA to AHCI. I'm now back to a fully-functioning SSD Windows 7/ Linux Mint dual-boot D630 with 4Gb of RAM. It works like a dream and all at just over £150. Thanks Morgan, great product at a great price!
the service i got from you was first class and i was so happy with it that i order a printer form you would recomend you to any one frist class and thank you again
Dell Latitude D630,
although the original unit had a small problem this was replaced at once without quibble and arrived the following day as promised with the faulty unit also collected.A nice touch was a recovery disc had also been included as I had asked how to do this and was a pleasant surprise. As for the Dell laptop condition was good for a second user device and my granddaughter is very pleased with it.I have bought a number of products from this company and find the staff always ready to help and now know this is also the case if you have a problem with a purchase. If you are looking for a second user or refurbished unit this is the one I would recommend.
Dell 630 purchase,
Excellent customer service, easy to buy the product you want, delivered the next day, delivered in the hour they said it would arrive. 100% excellent.
I have now purchased 6 of these machines, 3 for work, 1 for me and 2 for friends. I think they are a great machine, quite nippy and well built. I have hapilly recommended these to several people and the icing on the cake is the supplied recovery disk. Thank you Morgan (and Dell)
Ordered one day and delivered the next, well packaged and came with o/s disk as well. american k/b, but otherwise an excellent choice for the money.
Dell Latitude D630 2GB 80GB and XP Pro,
Very quick delivery, any issue emailed straight back, will buy off these agin.... A+++++ supplier
I have bought similar products from Morgan before and it really is outstanding value if you don't mind not having the latest spec. Built like a tank. Works very well and is very fast with my Virgin broadband.
As always a perfect working Laptop. Buy these quite often and have no issues
Excellent computer at the price. Recommended.
Dell 630 purchase,
A good machine at a very fair price. It's fast, does everything I want and is half the weight of its predecessor!
I needed a laptop with a serial port and this was one of the cheapest ways to do it. Arrived in 2 days from ordering, the keyboard and screen were very clean. The touch pad showed signs of use, but still very acceptable. There were some external scratches, but nothing to bother me. At the time of this review I am still loading my programs and using my old Dell laptop to run my serial port equipment. Up to now the D630 has been running perfectly and I don't expect any problems when it's connected to my equipment. If you need a laptop with a good spec. and a serial port, go for this one. Recommended.
An excellent computer for the older novice surfer,
Bought this computer for older relative who is just learning how to use the internet and e mail. Excellent quality and price. Arrived in a very clean condition. The smaller sized hard drive is more than adequate their needs and the 2GB RAM ensures if you connect the computer to your home broadband it will easily play video and radio via the BBC's iplayer with no problems. My relative is accessing the internet via a vodafone Pay-As You-Go Vodafone dongle. The computer refreshes web pages quickly and e mail downloads are fine. All in all and excellent computer at a really good price. Paul Courtney Taunton
Good quality at a good price,
Over the past 6 months I've bought several of these to run data collection in our research lab. They're good quality robust laptops at an excellent price. Although you can tell they've been used before, they've all been in excellent condition and worked perfectly.
Grab yourself a bargain Dell Latitude D630,
I would definitely recommend the Dell D630. I bought one from Morgan computers in May 2010. I paid £346 for mine so I think they are a bargain at less than £200. I have been using mine and carting it to and from work ever since and it has done everything I have needed to do, the battery is still good as well. I could have bought a new cheaper brand laptop for the same price at the time but the specs for the Dell were much better and the Dell had 4 USB ports. The screen is crystal clear, the sound is good and the Wi Fi works perfectly. It arrived in its original packaging with all discs etc. just like a brand new laptop. All I really needed to do was update the Windows XP (service pack 3 etc). The courier delivery was very quick and only cost a few pounds. All in all an absolute bargain.
