Not A Bad Little Machine,
For £200, this is not a bad little machine, it will be useful for holidays/going away. I have always been in favour of Windows XP, it is simple to use & very responsive.......

Good hardware, but...,
We like the clear display, and the keyboard is OK too, runs fast enough when new, but..... After installing AVG, assorted anti-spyware and an aftermarket firewall it all became more sluggish - to be fair, most Atom netbooks do this.
Have tried Ubuntu 9.10 ''Netbook Remix'' and liked it - the ''Easy Peasy'' flavour suits us very well. Much nippier than XP, and has its own antivirus (ClamAV) and firewall (IPtables) for free, along with 25,000 other free applications in the repositories!
Makes a great combination, but you need to feel comfortable backing up your Win partition (just in case) and then installing Linux - not hard, but a bit scary the first time you do it!
Well built neat machine,
If you don''t need an optical drive (or already have one with a USB connection), and if you don''t want to work for more than a couple of hours away from a mains connection, this is an excellent machine. Bright, sharp, screen (albeit very reflective). I arranged mine to dual-boot Ubuntu 9.10 and XP with no problems. I''m very happy with this machine. It''s well built with an excellent keyboard.
