Morgan started life as a secondhand camera shop in Tottenham Court Road some 30 years ago. Since 1983 we have traded in surplus and end-of-line computer equipment. The ageing Leicas and Nikons have now made way for Toshibas, HPs, Acers and the like - though we haven't totally lost sight of our roots as we now do a thriving trade in digital cameras and a wide range of consumer electronics. We are now part of the Bentham Group with access to much larger stocks that meet Morgan’s ‘value for money’ roots.

Morgan are now one of the UK's leading dealers in surplus, overstock and closeout computer stocks. Equipment is typically sourced direct from manufacturers and large distributors and sold direct to the end user - from individuals, the SOHO market, education and corporate. Morgan is one of the largest and longest established operators in this field in the UK. In early November 2009, Bentham Ltd, a substantial and highly successful IT Industry Reselling Group, based in Somerset acquired the rights to the Morgan e- commerce business, www.morgancomputers.co.uk to add to other brands including Inkjets and Toners, www. making-it-green.co.uk, IJT Direct, and Cartex. We are determined that the Morgan brand will build on its illustrious past with a very substantially larger product portfolio, a much wide range of goods and provide even greater value for money. The tradition of top quality end of line or refurbished product from top manufacturers will be maintained and extended.

Our Mail Order and Internet Sales department now based in Somerton in Somerset will continue to ensure a very high ‘in stock’ position permitting goods to be picked straight from our warehouse racking – the proud promise that if you order by midday for same day dispatch (subject to stocks and payment clearance) will continue. Most often orders placed up to 4pm should ship in the same way.
