Amazing for the price!, 24 July 2007
Impressed about the quality picture quality and sound.A Library button on the remote shows all the stored programs.You can remove adverts from recorded programmes. You mark the start and end of the advert and then delete the scene. The menu system to record programs is easy simple to use. You have to leave it on standby overnight so that it picks up all the Electronic Programming Guide (EPG). As for bad points - the hard disk noise - this is an issue with all hard disk based recorders. The hard disk never seems to turn off or go into standby. The hard disk is running 24/7 even when it is not recording a program or even if the box is on standby. I am not sure if this is a fault. The power supply which is external does get quite hot. For the price this is a great product, I only wish it had killer features like a USB or Firewire port to export to PC. There is a feature to format the hard disk. Top marks!

Nice and easy, 22 July 2007
At first didnt have instructions and couldnt set up (couldn''t find any user information on internet) - however was able to get a spare from the shop. Setting up with instructions was easy, no problems yet. Straight forward and easy to use. Very user friendly. Hard drive has whirring noise and set gets hot if prolongued use but at price I''m not complaining.
