Windows 7 Compatibility, 10 July 2009
I have the audio hub connected to a machine running the latest Windows 7 release-candidate. It works well as a sound card, a USB hub and a network interface. The only part of the software that doesn''t work is the program that configures it for 2.1 or 5.1 audio.

Bargain, 30 December 2008
I bought this module a few months back for £20, and it was already then a bargain. to buy it for £10 now, and get all the features that it has, it''''s a no brainer, 5+1 24bit/96khz. gives the laptop movie theatre capabilities. under the cover there is an actual creative soundcard with 6 philips'''' DACs, 1 per channel. although it doesn''''t have enough power to drive audiofile headphones to high volumes, it is sufficient to drive those with high sensitivity, and the result is luxurious, rather smooth, polished, and effortlessly detailed bliss, with no background hiss whatsoever. I agree with some of the other comments, there might be quips that can annoy, but, at £10, these all turn into features :D

Under-hyped Tosh audio hub, 04 December 2008
I''ll go with RMPayne''s review. No probs with my semi-redundant celeron laptop xp. Yep, bonus is 4 usb ports but I bought this kit to enable me to transfer my stereo music tracks from vinyl/tape as laptop doesn''t have stereo input jackplug.

Good, ultra cheap - beware of the software, 10 October 2008
This works great as a way of adding both some more USB ports, and more importantly another soundcard, to my laptop running XP.
Sound quality is very good, but the speed of the USB ports can be compromised if you plug in your mouse and keyboard though this box.
I found the installed software really rather annoying: it does little except make the volume control on the front of the box work. It does however disable my existing speakers. Plus, it takes a good 20 minutes to load in from CD. If you just load up the drivers, it''s fine: indeed, without the drivers Windows recognised the USB ports and the sound card, so it may be best to avoid loading anything!
Incidentally, the manual is hillarious. There is a huge, chunky, 60 page tomb, which contains nothing more than warnings about plugging it in. There is a one page flyer with much more info about how to plug it into a speaker system. The bit you really want to get at... is on the CD.

Works for XP & Vista, 15 September 2008
I am dual booting XP MCE and Vista. Works great for both OS. For Vista, it install the ADM851X USB to Ethernet Adapter from the CD. Then unmute the sound in system tray (bottom right corner). It seem to be muted by default.
