I ordered wrong laptop and quickly phoned to notify them for replacement before despatch. Spoke to Jonathan who emailed the operations department. Followed up next day to find out progress, the wrong laptop has gone thru waiting for courier. Jonathan left his busy schedule and went to fish out my order from 10s of thousands, exchanged it for the one I want and it arrived following day. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL. VERY BIG THANK YOU.

This camera has a serious colour problem since is can only switch from black and white to green and white to purple and white. Very rare would you be able to see more than one colour at the same time.
My software setup is actually different for the instructions manual and i am therefore unable to turn on and off the infra red.
The led lights are to the bottom of the camera and cannot illuminate anything except the camera''s base.
I am unable to see anything in dim or no light.

For anyone else with this camera experiencing ''''washed-out'''' colours, this does indeed seem to be due to an over-sensitivity to infrared. For more information see:

Using a low energy bulb in the room does help get more normal colour. If you can cope with this workaround then at the price this is a good buy.

Using a low-energy lightbulb in the room solves the colour problem completely. Tweak the exposure and brightness in set-up and the pictures look amazing! If the lens is a little loose in the screw thread, unscrew it completely, and wrap a little bit of electrical insulating tape around it, to make it a snugger fit. This camera is strictly for indoor use, daylight is too bright for it and contains too much infra-red light. My verdict after several months of use: great value and quality.

I Have Just Bought The StarCam 370i Sept 2006,Although It Has Excellent Image Definision And Quality BUT POOOOR COLOR,Blue Color Appears Light Gray,If You Use It As Web Cam in MSN as Example the Other Chatting Buddy Will See You B/W ONLY, I Regret And Sorry To But IT
